Ruth Gibson - Voice Over Artist
Ruth has worked extensively in voice over and is probably best know the voice of EE mobile phones. She was featured on the BBC's Culture Show and in The Readers Digest as one of the UK's most famous voices. Ruth and has recorded numerous adverts for television and radio including Ariel washing powder, Samsung, Euromillions and British Airways as well as corporate work for American Express, HSBC, Co-operative Bank and The Times just to name a few. She voices the lead character Sabrina Glevissig in the popular video game Witcher and Little My in the animated film ‘Moomins on The Riviera’.
Fraser Milroy - Composer
Fraser is a Sound Designer, Composer, & Sound Engineer from Glasgow.
He is also the Technical & Production Manager for The Stand Comedy Club at the Edinburgh Fringe, the 9th largest venue at the festival and one of only two signed up to the Fair Fringe campaign.
He is currently Sound designing an installation in conjunction with Pitlochry Festival Theatre and National Trust Scotland.
Credits includes: Exiles by Victoria McNulty, In Someone Else’s Shoes: Edinburgh’s Unexpected Summer by Hannah Price, Oor Wullie! The Musical by Noisemaker, and Down & Out LIVE for the Orwell Foundation.
Fraser is also one half of Glasgow based company Fair Pley; focusing mainly on the production of ethical theatre, events and work with a political focus.
Hannah Price - director
Hannah is a director working across theatre, immersive, games, video content and VR. Her work directing performance for games has been nominated for 3 BAFTA’s winning one. She is the winner of two Fringe First Awards and a Spirit of the Fringe Award for her work with Theatre Uncut, and winner of the Audible Drama Production Competition.
Hannah has directed for theatres across the world, with productions in Toronto, Switzerland, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Paris and more. In the UK she has directed for the Trafalgar Studios, the Young Vic, Liverpool Everyman, the Soho Theatre, Bristol Old Vic, Traverse Theatre Edinburgh, West Yorkshire Playhouse, the Park Theatre and others. She has worked with actors including Brian Blessed, Cush Jumbo, Marl Gatiss, Tobias Menzies, Dame Harriet Walter, Lena Headey, Ralph Ineson, Daniel Kaluuya, Anne Marie Duff, Mackenzie Crook and Les Dennis amongst others.
Hannah established international new writing theatre company Theatre Uncut in 2011. Through her work with Theatre Uncut Hannah has commissioned and dramaturgically developed scripts from over 50 writers, working with some of the world’s best known names including Jack Thorne, Dennis Kelly, Lucy Kirkwood, Caryl Churchill, Mark Ravenhill, Inua Ellams, David Greig, Tanika Gupta and many more. Theatre Uncut now works in 25 countries over 4 continents, with more than 6000 participants.
As a performance director/ voice director on games Hannah has directed per-cap/ mo-cap, face-cap and voice for many of the world’s biggest titles. Her work as Lead Performance Director recently helped ‘Control’ (Remedy Games) achieve 4 Game of the Year Awards, and nominations in 8 categories in the Game Awards. She has directed for titles including ‘Forza Horizon 4’, ‘Fable’, ‘The Witcher’, ‘Lego Ninjago Movie Video Game’, ‘Star Wars’, and others.
In the last few years Hannah has also worked as a Creative Director on a number of productions in the immersive sphere, including VR/ crossover projects as well as adapting Orwell’s famous novels ‘1984’ and ‘Down and Out in Paris and London’ for an immersive environment. ‘Down and Out’ debuted in London, before transferring to Paris. She also is Director of In Someone Else’s Shoes, a 360 video project that utilises VR to provoke empathy, allowing participants to literally walk in someone else’s shoes.
Before Covid, Hannah was working as Creative Director on a multi-million pound VR/ immersive cross over project for Ellipsis Entertainment and Historic Royal Palaces. We are hoping this will open late 2021.
Adrienne Quartly - Sound Designer
For the last 18 years Adrienne has been working as a sound designer/composer, both nationally and internationally. She was part of the team behind the Olivier Nominated Production of Cuttin’ It (Young Vic Theatre), best new play nomination at the UK theatre awards for Black Men Walking (Eclipse Theatre), and a nomination for best production at the Manchester Theatre Awards for Rose, starring Dame Janet Suzman (Home, Manchester).
She has worked at many respected theatres including the Donmar Warehouse, the RSC, The Young Vic, The Royal Court Theatre, The Abbey Theatre, Dublin, The National Theatre of Scotland, Schaubühne, Berlin, The Barbican and Theatre Royal, Haymarket. She has travelled all over the world, including the Lincoln Centre Festival, New York, with Improbable Theatre, and also featured at the Beijing Comedy Festival with Told By an Idiot.
Adrienne also works on audio drama, including creating Mansfield Park for Audible, and adapting theatre show Hefted by David Lane into audio. Previous to theatre she was a Senior audio producer for inflight productions and specialist music producer for Chrysalis.
